Guess what guys? Its that time of year. . . The BET Awards the biggest night in Black Entertainment has come once again. Only everyone who is anyone was at the show last night. All the major names in hip-hop and R&B were present along with many well known actors and actresses. The show, this year hosted by Samuel L. Jackson was immeasurable compared to the 2011 BET Awards show hosted by Kevin Hart but the fashion was unbeatable.
The Gentlemen
Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank came together as 'trio'. These three men walked on the red carpet drawing all eyes on them with their coordinating White blazer , v-neck tees and blue jeans. However, it was surprising to see the amount of men wearing white last night. I mean ... it is summer now.
Jamie Foxx came to the event wear a red shirt , in the middle we see the face of 16-year old Trayvon Martin who was wrongfully killed early this year in a so-called 'hate-crime'. His outfit was completed with a pair of dark blue jeans and some window "nerd" glasses to accessorize.
Watch ya! Usher performed his hit song climax, with the utmost passion wearing a pair of bright red Raf Simon high top kicks!
HisR&B singer Miquel blending with the carpet in his all red attire, last night. His red jacket,shirt and pants were very bold among the. other chart-topping artist. Not only was his outfit BOLD. . . soo was his haircut.
Actor Hosea Chanchez better known as Malik from BET's hit sitcom The Game wore an amazing royal blue color suit with a pair of cheetah print shoes. Now that's fashion!
And of course Rick Ross did not fail to show up in a sweat suit. Its only summer and like 98 degress outside ... I guess he is what they call him - a boss.
I am not even going to begin to comment on 2chains entire attire, Tyga's tan leather shirt, or Chris Brown's half zombie painted torso. . So now for ....
The Ladies
La La Anthony outfit definitely caught my attention! She came on the red carpet Wearing a stunning Lois London purple glitter jumpsuit with a silver metal belt.
This new and upcoming artist Elle Varner was wearing a unique long sleeve multi-color paisley designed dress. She looked amazing an stood out from the crowd. I guess she is trying to make a name for herself. *Kanye Shrug*
Rapper Lola Monroe arrived at the 2012 BET awards wearing a beautiful peach one shoulder dress. Sweetheart breast line, body hugging and floor sweeping she single handed- ly killed the red carpet.
Queen B came out last night in canary yellow one shoulder dress with a long split up to her hip. She embellished this plain satin dress with a geometric silver metal belt. I personally love this dress even though some of America may not feel the same way. You GO GIRL!
Model Selita Ebanks strutted in an jawdropping Falguni and Shane Peacock dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Simply Gorgeous!
